Originally conceived as a way to revitalize the warehouse district of Wynwood, the large scale murals, stencils, graffiti and other DSC03258forms of street art have helped the area develop into an artistic attraction unique to the city. The artwork represents American and international artists, including works from some of the genre’s most well known artists such as Shepard Fairey, Aiko, FAILE, Retna and Os Gemeos among many others as well as an array of styles ranging from small graffiti stickers to full-wall murals. The walls span several blocks and visitors are welcome to freely explore the area’s artwork.

The restaurant is designed to allow visitors to be further immersed in the contemporary urban art that has come to largely define the neighborhood. With an open warehouse layout that includes and outdoor patio area, the interior of Wynwood Kitchen & Bar features an original mural by Shepard Fairey in the barroom and 20 foot abstract paintings from Christian Awe throughout the dining room. The outdoor patio wall is flanked by FAILE art and opens into the yard where prominent murals by Fairey, Kenny Scharf, Ryan McGinness and Aiko can be seen.
