Shakespeare in the Parking Lot 20th Season Opens, NYC 2011

Now back for its 20th season, The Drilling Company presents “The Comedy of Errors” from July 7th-23rd to be followed by “Hamlet” July 28th through August 13th, 2011. The theater company adapts classic Shakespeare to more modern times, often with a New York twist, and occasionally having to explain for the natural summer night happenings of a municipal parking lot on the Lower East Side.
